Parenting Support is where you can find a range of different services and information that are provided by Harrow Council for residents of Harrow.

As parents/carers you are able to make enquiries about these services and in some cases self refer for support.

NSPCC

The NSPCC have got tips and advice for parents and carers during this difficult time, including supporting children with anxiety due to coronavirus.

THINK U KNOW

Think U Know have support and advice for parents during COVID-19 and the closure of schools. Simple 15 minute home activities you can do with your child to support their online safety at a time when they will spending more time online at home.

Harrow Foodbank

The Trussell Trust foodbank network works in partnership with local churches and organisations to bring foodbanks to communities across the UK. There are now over 400 foodbanks in the network.

The Wish Centre offer confidential support for young people who are self-harming or who need to speak to someone about sexual violence.

Body and Soul is a charity that specialise in the wellbeing of children, young people and families living with and affected by HIV.

Urgent mental health support - 24/7 crisis Lines

24/7 crisis line for people of all ages -children, young people and adults. The lines which are free to call can provide advice to those in a crisis. These crisis lines are supported by trained mental health advisors 365 days a year.
