Offsite Activity Student Code of Conduct

Student Code of Conduct

Each student included in an offsite activity is responsible for their own behaviour in line with the College Behaviour for Learning Policy.  This student code of conduct is included as part of the risk assessment to ensure that students are aware of their responsibility to contribute to the safety of the activity by agreeing to the following expectations: 

  • To behave in a manner that reflects positively on the student, their family and Rooks Heath College. 
  • To listen carefully and follow all instructions given out by staff.
  • To always make a careful note of meeting points and times. 
  • To be punctual.
  • To act with consideration toward others, especially the general public, by being polite and not making unnecessary noise.
  • To leave expensive hand held games, cameras, phones etc. at home.
  • To regard spending money as optional and not essential and keep it to a minimum.
  • To be aware of road safety, particularly at motorway service stations.
  • To sit down and wear seatbelts where a coach or mini bus is used.
  • To stand clear of the edge of the platform when using a train.
