New Year 7 - Transition
PRIMARY TO SECONDARY SCHOOL TRANSITION 2023
Hello, and welcome to Rooks Heath School!
We would like to extend a very warm welcome to Year 6 students and their families, who will be joining our community in September. We know that this can be a very stressful time for students and parents, but we are working hard behind the scenes to help make your transition as smooth as possible. Our dedicated team is looking forward to getting to know you and helping you to make the jump to secondary school.
IMPORTANT KEY DATES TO NOTE
Monday 26th June - TRANSITION MEETING
You will be invited into Rooks Heath School with your child for a meeting with a member of staff.
Wednesday 5th July - NEW INTAKE DAY
We will be holding a New Intake Day on Wednesday 6th July where students will be allocated to their Tutor Group and meet their Form Tutor.
Thursday 6th July - NEW INTAKE PARENTS EVENING
This evening meeting is primarily intended for parents. Our uniform supplier will also be available should you wish to purchase uniform.
