CONGRATULATIONS TO Rooks heath CLASS OF 2025 ON A TREMENDOUS SET OF A LEVEL & BTEC RESULTS
Rooks Heath School is delighted to congratulate our Year 13 students on a tremendous set of A Level and BTEC results.
This year, 66% of A Level grades were at A–C*, with an impressive 97% overall pass rate (A–E). On our Level 3 vocational programmes, 100% of students achieved Distinction, Distinction, Merit or Pass, showcasing the exceptional talent and commitment across our cohort.
This year’s achievements are particularly significant as our students made their A Level choices in 2023—the first year GCSE grading returned to pre-pandemic standards. Despite this challenge, they have risen to the occasion with determination and ambition.
Many students have secured places at high quality universities, and we are incredibly proud of continuing our excellent support of our top learners in their applications to the most competitive universities. Once again, we have secured a place at Oxford University meaning we have now had students placed there in five of the last seven years. Furthermore, students have been placed at many prestigious Russell Group institutions including University College London and the Universities of Warwick and Cardiff. It is also pleasing to see a true diversity of subjects that our students are specialising in from Mathematics, Biomedicine, Pharmacy and Aerospace Engineering to English Literature, History of Art, Psychology, Midwifery and Diagnostic Radiography, reflecting both the breadth of our curriculum and the individuality of our students’ passions.
Special recognition goes to:
- Maanya – A* A* A B
- Ollie – A* A A
- Janaina – A* A B
- Sean & Rianna – Distinction* (vocational) and B B at A Level
Our students’ destinations include:
- Student A – University of Oxford, English Language and Literature
- Student B – University College London, Cancer Biomedicine
- Student C – University College London, History of Art
- Student D – University College London, History
Many have expressed how much they valued their time at Rooks Heath, describing these years as some of the best of their lives, and several have already committed to returning as alumni to inspire future cohorts.
Mrs M, Headteacher, commented:
“We are once again extremely proud of the excellent achievement and progress made by all of our students. As a community of staff, students and parents, we work closely to ensure every student achieves their aspirational goals. Our students inspire us to continually improve, and we strive to be our best to secure continued academic success. It is a privilege to work with such talented and dedicated staff who create a vibrant and stimulating learning environment, and I am deeply grateful to our parents and carers for their unwavering support.”
Mr Wright, Head of Sixth, said
“Once again, I feel immensely proud of the resilience and commitment shown by our year 13 students. They have performed admirably, and I am delighted that so many of them achieved the grades required for them to successfully continue to the next stage of their learning. It has been a pleasure to watch them grown in confidence and develop the skills necessary to be successful in their future careers and lives. I am confident that almost all of them are ready for the challenges that life after school will afford them.”
Congratulations once again to the Class of 2025—you have set a shining example for all future Rooks Heath students.
