On a bright, sunny February afternoon, Rooks Heath AS geography students visited London’s Docklands in order to expand their knowledge of how London’s geography is always changing.

On a bright, sunny February afternoon, Rooks Heath AS geography students visited London’s Docklands in order to expand their knowledge of how London’s geography is always changing. The visit allowed students the opportunity to evaluate the development of Canary Wharf focusing on how well it meets the needs of commuters and local residents. There was also time for students to visit the Museum of London Docklands which charts the history of London right the way back to Roman Times.

“The highlight of the day for me was realising that so many of the exciting things in London are linked and relevant to Geography.” Daniaal (AS Geography student)
