On 3rd Feb 2014, 27 EAL students (Yr 10/11) attended a school trip to the Science Museum. As well as exploring the museum with great interest, the students watched ‘Space Station 3D’.

“Only a few will be able to travel to the International Space Station for real - but astronauts have described this film as the closest you can get to visiting space without leaving the planet. You'll blast off with the astronauts and cosmonauts en route for the International Space Station and share their experiences as they eat, drink, shower and generally settle into life in orbit 220 miles above Earth.”

The educational aim was to write a review about their experiences during the day.

“The most amazing part was that everyone was looking so curiously at those things. I really think that everyone should visit that place. I would really love to go there again.” Ana (11 Red)

“I saw a lot of new things. The best thing was when we watched ‘Space Station 3D’. When I watched it, I felt like I was there. That was the best 3D I had ever seen!”  Gergo (11 Indigo)

“When we went inside, it was amazing, there were antiques everywhere. It was fun. The museum was so big!” Sahal (10 Yellow)

“This was my second EAL trip. I saw many different things. ‘Space Station 3D’ was amazing. I couldn’t believe my eyes!” Arun (11 Red)

The students had thoroughly enjoyed the day. They had discovered so many exciting things. Their behaviour was impeccable throughout the day thanks to the additional help of. Mrs. Sritharan and Mrs. Logan.
