Opportunity through Learning

AS Trip to the Natural History Museum

After the hard work of the AS year it was a treat to take the AS students to the Natural History Museum where they could experience the sights and sounds of science in action.

After the hard work of the AS year it was a treat to take the AS students to the Natural History Museum where they could experience the sights and sounds of science in action. The students saw evolution through observing the anatomy of fossils and researched new and interesting areas of biology which they presented to their peers back at Rooks Heath. The Cocoon, is a fascinating new building in the museum and scientists are on hand to explain current developments. The museum is free and is well worth a visit in the holidays, you will be amazed by the animated dinosaurs and the blue whale.
