Due to the unforeseen Red Alert weather warning from Public Heath England and advice from the DFE, the planned trip for Years 9 and 10 to Thorpe Park tomorrow, Monday 18^th July will be postponed to the Autumn Term.  

Students should attend school tomorrow at the normal time in their lightest PE kit garments ready for their normal timetabled lessons.  Teachers will use their experience in planning lessons at short notice.  

Although we cannot specify the exact time at this stage, we anticipate that we will be sending home students and staff at about 1pm tomorrow to travel before the height of the heatwave.  A message will be communicated with the whole school community as soon as we are able to. Please keep an eye on SIMS In Touch, emails and our website.

Further details will be shared in the Autumn term when another date for the trip has been organised.
