Monday 18th December - Christmas Jumper Day

December 2017

Dear Parent/Carer,

On Monday 18 December the Sixth Form are inviting all students to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.

The whole school is invited to take part, with everyone, including students and all staff, getting the chance to show the world their silly side by wearing their favourite festive knits for the day. Years 7 - 11 should wear their normal uniform but their shirt, tie, blazer and school jumper can be replaced by a Christmas jumper.

We are asking everyone to make a £1 donation to help save children’s lives around the world.

The money they raise will help Save the Children give the world’s forgotten children a brighter future.  It could help bring essentials like healthcare, education, protection and food to the millions of children around the world who are missing out on the most basic support.

You will not need to splash out on snazzy new jumpers to join in the fun – you can simply decorate an old one to create your own crafty masterpiece!

If you would like to find out more about Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, simply head to christmasjumperday.org.  Do not forgot to bring in your £1.

We would really appreciate your help to make Christmas Jumper Day a huge success.  With your support we’re looking forward to a woolly great day!

Yours sincerely

MR A. J. WRIGHT
